a cuppa

Today’s “Jubilee” post covers 3 fantastic envelopes that came in – and only one is from an actual Brit.  First up, Sarah Jampal – a U.S. student at Yale University.  I don’t think her envelope was necessarily inspired by the Jubilee going on this weekend, but it made me think of it immediately:

Just look at all these stacked teacups.  Can you imagine how long it took to color all those patterns?!

In the same vein, check out Rosemary Smith‘s adorable submission – she decorated the back of her envelope with “British bunting” and sent it in all the way from Kent, England.

And last – but not least – did you see Marisa Edghill’s teacup envelope over on the Oh My Handmade Goodness blog last month?  These are the perfect way to invite friends over to a tea-inspired shower, lunch, or birthday party.  You must click on over to the OHMG blog and see the full tutorial.  Lovely job, Marisa!

One more Jubilee-inspired post tomorrow, and then – who knows?
