Today I’m featuring a really adorable Licorice Allsorts envelope from Rebecca Evans in Berkshire, UK. You know those sweets?

The Olympics stamps are a nice touch too. (Yes, this one arrived awhile back…)
Yummo. I love these candies and black licorice in general, but I don’t like red licorice. I’m taking an informal poll in the comments… RED OR BLACK?

I agree with Alison–licorice is (hmmm…..what’s a nice word–can’t think of one.) Chocolate is my preference!

Red isn’t really licorice, but I prefer it. I’ve also had some that is green & flavored like apples. Pretty tasty!
I thought that might be the case – kind of like how white chocolate isn’t really chocolate. I guess that makes me a purist?
